The Educated Elite (Respone to Armine)

I really liked how Armine chose this picture and was able to give a good explanation of what was happening in the photo. Just like she states many people who were educated but were of color were frowned upon. Even though they had the same education and maybe even wealth as a white man they weren't seen as equals. They were often seen as uncivilized or "savages". I totally agree with what Armine states and believe that many White men held their head high and wouldn't blink an eye in the direction of a colored man because of the color of their skin. I think there are many good factors she wrote in. Overall I would say that she is on point with what the picture is portraying.
