It was surprising to learn

While starting to read about how we have grown into a civilization I couldn't stop but wander and imagine how the people must of felt. Here you are coming onto foreign land not knowing what is out there and you have all this freedom but yet don't know what to do. I tried to put myself into their shoes, and being the person that I am would find excitement in the new world. I would be overjoyed and would want to be part of the research team and learn the new plants and new species never seen before. The book states that civilization started their roots in the Agriculture Revolution.

Early Agriculture | Sutori

While agriculture was the root of how civilization started we also see that many people started their communities based on Geography. Many would select areas near the ocean, deserts, or mountains. Water systems were made to help  with irrigation and so on. Instead of currency many would trade goods for other goods. Many were farmers but cities were also starting to be made as well. Cities were crucial in first civilization. Many people would travel and be amazed at how much access they had to everything.

Many people were astonished by how many markets and how close loved ones could be near each other. It was amazing to see how with time we transitioned and started to make our cities. I have to take a step back and be grateful for living in a time where technology thrives and we have motor vehicles and so on.
